Weezat Limited (we or us) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
This policy (the Weezat Privacy Policy) (together with the Weezat Terms of Use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us through our website www.weezat.com (the Website) or otherwise, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is Weezat Limited of Top Floor, 134 Strathville Road, London, SW18 4RE.
Our nominated representative for the purposes of the Act is Jon Esson.
1. INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU
You do not have to be registered with Weezat or logged in (if you are registered) in order to use Weezat’s search capability and view basic venue information. However, you do need to be registered (and logged in) in order to access Weezat’s other services.
We may collect and process the following data about you:
· Information that you provide by filling in forms on the Website. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the Website (including personal information such as your name, email address and account password) and posting material on the Website. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with the Website.
· Correspondence. If you contact us by email, through the Website’s ‘Feedback’ tool or otherwise, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
· Survey Responses. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
· Transactions. Details of transactions you carry out through the Website (if any) and of the fulfilment of your orders.
· Cookies. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service, including for storing user preferences, improving search results and tracking user trends, such as how people search. We also use cookies to help our advertisers and publishers serve and manage the adverts which are displayed on the Website. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
· Log Data. When you access Weezat, like most sites, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. This information may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, resources that you access and one or more cookies that may identify your browser.
2. IP ADDRESSES AND COOKIES
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
For the same reason, (unless you adjust your browser settings to reject cookies) we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve the Website and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us to:
· Estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
· Store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests.
· Speed up your searches.
· Recognise you when you return to the Website.

3. WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA
The personal data which we collect from you will, ordinarily, be stored and processed only in the United Kingdom and we will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with the Weezat Privacy Policy.
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. In these circumstances, we will continue to take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with the Weezat Privacy Policy.
We do not store details of any payment methods used in transactions conducted with us.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the Website; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
4. USES MADE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We use information held about you in the following ways:
· To provide you with information that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes, including to let you know about events and promotions relating to:
· venues in your local areas;
· venues you have selected as your favourites; and
· your friends.
(Please note that you can choose how you receive such updates (or elect not to receive them) by changing your profile settings).
· To ensure that the Website’s content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
· To protect our property and that of our users.
· To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.
· To allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so.
· To develop new services and changes to existing services.
· To notify you about changes to our service.
We will only permit carefully selected third parties to use your data where you have provided your consent for us to share your data with them. Where you do so, such third parties may contact you by email, SMS or telephone.
We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 500 men aged under 30 have clicked on their advertisement on any given day). We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target according to the demographics of which they form a part.
5. INFORMATION ABOUT YOU THAT OTHER USERS CAN SEE ON THE WEBSITE
All users of the Website will be able to view the following information about you through the Website:
· Your profile picture;
· Your name (as selected by you as the name to be displayed on the Website);
· Your area (as dictated by either (i) your Weezat postcode or, if you don’t select one, (ii) your home postcode);
· A list of other users of the Website who are your Friends.
Your Friends (users who you add as friends or accept friend requests from) and (for a period of 7 days only) other users to whom you have sent a ‘nudge’ will be able to view the following aspects of your Weezat profile in addition to the information listed above:
· Your Venues tab (including your favourite venues);
· Your Friends tab (not revealing who your ‘Top Friends’ are);
· Your Events tab (including details of events in your Weezat calendar);
· Your Reviews tab.
You can change your profile settings in relation to what events information your Friends can access by going to the Preferences section of your Profile tab.
6. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 736 of the UK Companies Act 1985.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties:
· In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
· If Weezat Limited or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its users will be one of the transferred assets.
· If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply the Weezat Terms of Use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Weezat Limited, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
7. YOUR RIGHTS
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data and (in some instances, by changing the preferences settings in your Profile tab on the Website). You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at info@weezat.com.
The Website may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or other sites’ adherence to such policies or their use of your data. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.
8. ACCESS TO INFORMATION
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
9. CHANGES TO THE WEEZAT PRIVACY POLICY
Any changes we may make to the Weezat Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail and/or notification through the Website.
